Nieuws van de Amerikaanse caraudio fabrikant, Phoenix Gold. Tijdens de CES 2012 show in Las Vegas introduceren zij de Elite lijn versterkers. De Elite versterker lijn bestaat uit drie nieuwe versterkers:
De Elite.4 vier kanaals versterker, de Elite.2 twee kanaals versterker en de Elite.1 mono versterker. Volgens Phoenix Gold product manager Morgan West zijn de opgegeven vermogens uiterst conservatief. "De Elite.1 bijvoorbeeld heeft een opgegeven vermogen van 3200Wrms aan 1 Ohm maar op de testbank leverde deze versterker een vermogen van wel 4100Wrms bij een THD van 1%."
